What the Zoopedia can confirm

The official Planet Zoo 2 Zoopedia is the strongest public source for the roster because it is maintained for the game itself. A published species entry can establish the game’s chosen common name and its inclusion in the roster. Depending on what Frontier exposes, an entry may later support conservation, habitat or social information. It does not automatically prove mechanics that are absent from the entry. We therefore cite the individual record when available and avoid filling missing fields with facts from the first game, real-world husbandry sites or community spreadsheets.

Confirmed, observed and requested are different lists

A confirmed animal has been named on an official Planet Zoo 2 page, store listing, press release or Zoopedia record.
